The ESB team
The company’s Managing Director, Chris Canavan, has a strong background in the electrical industry with over 25 years of experience. Our work history is comprised of commercial building maintenance, commercial office fit-outs, industrial engineering service, generator services and installation, building electrical auditing, emergency and exit light testing and replacement, communication (Nexus and Hive), light and power automated systems (Cbus and Dynalite).
Within ESB we have a service and a project team, each headed up by a Team Manager who oversee all workings and operations. Each technician has a fully equipped vehicle and ESB’s resources include an 8-metre scissor lift, a light truck with lifting crane and cargo deck with a 17-metre Boom Lift, power quality meters, remote energy metering options, back-up generators and thermographic cameras.

ESB has thrived since it’s foundation by Chris in 2010. He has over 25 years of experience in all facets of the electrical trade. The success of the company is in no small way a result of his own friendly and approachable personality along with his unwavering focus on professional standards of work & customer service.
Josh Howes
PROJECT MANAGER
Josh commenced with ESB in 2014. After working in all parts of the of the field team Josh found his niche in Projects. He managed many commercial fit-outs including several multi -million dollar projects. He now heads the projects team overseeing all quotes, budgets, operations and completions.
Kris Lowry

Kris has played an important role since joining the ESB team. His focus is to work with Facility Managers to achieve compliance in their buildings, in the most efficient and effective way. His background and broad knowledge base as an electrician and project management has assisted him in creating new systems and working collaboratively with the service technicians.

Richard has a 30 year history in the audio visual industry. Starting out in the early 1990’s & has progressed through many facets of technology used for effective communication. From military simulation systems to a simple display on a wall, Richard can help achieve your audio visual goals on time and on budget. Also the ESB Web Designer.
Bernadette Ryland
ACCOUNTS
Bern has been a key person in the development of ESB success over the past 7 years. She has an overarching knowledge of the processes and systems employed by Electrical Services Brisbane. She manages all invoicing and customer accounts and her understanding of the FRC system ensures jobs are up to date.
EMMA CANAVAN
HSEQ & OFFICE MANAGER
Emma overseas the management of the office, with the particular focus on Human Resources and Quality, Safety and Environmental Compliance. Her work ethic and dedication ensures that they key aspects are up to date and current.

SERVICE ADMINISTRATION
Iesha joined the ESB team in the start of 2020. Her efficiency and diligence when coordinating service staff and jobs has ensured quick responses to buildings whenever required. Her bright, bubbly personality is evident in her great customer service.
TAKALA HEALEY
ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT ASSISTANT
Takala joined the ESB team in the start of 2023. Takala has rapidly become an integral part of the team, providing administrative support within the ESB office and across both our service and projects departments. Managing our ESB documentation, service reports, and project manuals.
